I didn't shoot it however the bolt was so sloppy that it might rattle inside the receiver. I do much like the new Game Reaper scope mount I purchased for it. However have to have a NEW Kimber Montana in both 270 WSM or 270 earn if everyone know of 1 for sale. They can be wonderful to handle
